Hermit's Rest is a building in The Impermanent Peaks, situated in Fiddler's Green, established in 2005. It was built by the artist Arturo Ilisástigui. It was built after going through an unfaithful bad trip from a single weed gummy that almost killed him. Arturo decided that he wanted to live a life out of the limelight which turned him into quite the recluse. Retreating into the Impermanent Peaks and carving out a house from the rocks was apparently the best thing to do. His work has since taken a bit of a turn for the worst. He now paints a lot of mountain marmots in all sorts of skimpy outfits. They don't go for nearly as much as his earlier works.
